Buckingham Palace is home to the reigning United Kingdom Monarch. The palace is often the setting for state affairs and royal events. When the British flag is raised above the palace it means Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, is not in the residence. If the flag is not visible and the guards are carrying a red background regimental flag, Her Majesty is in the residence.

Brixton Village & Market Row

In the past, Brixton was known as an area to avoid in South London. However, with trendy shops and cafes flourishing like flowers the last stop on the southbound Victoria line has become a must for market goers and brunch fanatics.

Located in the heart of the Brixton Market, Brixton Village remains a well-hidden gem.  The village occupies an old extension of the Brixton tube station and making for a range of elaborate and vintage architecture.  The village is filled with crepe houses, burger joints, and cafes that serve variations of a tradiontal English breakfast. If ever venturing through South London, the Brixton Village is a sight for sore eyes.

Casa Sibilla – Brixton Village

This small Italian Cafe & Deli is absolutely not equipped to serve big parties or customers in a hurry. There is one chef for the cafe and one chef for the deli. The seating is very limited and the area can get easily crowded. However, if time can be spared, this Italian treasure is a must for foodies alike and rightfully deserves its Tripadvisor rating.
